Vice-President for Programs, Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society, Texas Tech University, Lubbock, TX, November 2011-present.  Responsible for coordinating society programs including inductions and guest speakers.  Work with society president to provide organizational leadership. 

Peer Reviewer, Southwest Educational Research Association, November 2011.  Reviewed presentation proposals in Division VI: Graduate Work in Progress for the 2012 SERA Annual Meeting. 

Committee Member, Global Exemplar School Committee, Texas Tech University, Lubbock, TX, September 2011-present.  Serving as one of 2 graduate students on a 6-member team which is developing a plan for a community-university-public school partnership.  Other team members include the Dean of the College of Education and tenured Education faculty.  Organized meetings with key stakeholders in education and the community to identify key educational needs for the purpose of creating an intervention funding proposal. 

Committee Chair, Political Action Committee, Stevensville Education Association, Stevensville, MT, August 2008-May 2011.  Coordinated with superintendent, school board, and parent groups to educate the public regarding school levy and bond issues.  Assisted in a successful campaign to pass the first operational levy in the Stevensville High School district in 20 years, as well as an $8.5 million building bond for a new middle school.     

AP World History Exam Reader, Educational Testing Service, Ft. Collins, CO, June 2007-present.  Scored the essay portion of the AP World History Exam after receiving extensive training by ETS personnel.  Attended workshops and forums regarding the development of the AP World History Exam. 

Curriculum Writer, Ravalli County Curriculum Consortium, Hamilton, MT, July 2006.  Collaborated with educators county-wide to research and rewrite county curriculum in Reading, Writing, Speaking/Listening, and Media Literacy. 

Department Chair, Department of English, Stevensville High School, Stevensville, MT, August 2004-May 2011.  Developed and coordinated curriculum.  Scheduled and oversaw department meetings.  Communicated with and mediated between department members and administrators.  Spear-headed initiative to completely revamp and align the high school communication arts curriculum. 

Faculty Mentor, Stevensville High School, Stevensville, MT, August 2004-May 2011.  Mentored one new English or history instructor every year.  Facilitated integration into community and curriculum. 

Committee Member, Department of English Rank and Tenure Committee, MSU-Billings, September 2002-April 2003.  Collaborated with other committee members to evaluate post-tenure review materials and promotion applications of department members.
