Graduate Assistant, College of Education, Texas Tech University, September 2011-May 2012.  Worked with tenured Curriculum & Instruction faculty to provide instruction and further the institutional research agenda.  Developed online courses, graded assignments, wrote literature reviews, substitute taught, and provided guest lectures.  Met with students to provide individualized tutoring and instruction.  Covered a full month of class in EDEL 2300 while instructor was absent.  Collaborated with instructors on the following courses:

Adult Education Instructor, Stevensville Public Schools, Stevensville, MT, January-May 2009.  Designed and taught a creative writing course for community members.  Differentiated instruction for students ranging in age from early 20s to late 80s.  Course content included basic grammar, literary forms, and the writing process. 

Cooperating Teacher, College of Education, University of Montana, Missoula, MT, September 2006-May 2011.  Mentored four student teachers and five pre-service student observers.  Assisted in lesson planning, development of professional habits, and improvement of classroom management techniques.

Academic Tutor, Academic Support Center, MSU-Billings, December 2001-August 2003.  Tutored writing in the Learning Lab.  Instructed students in writing process and grammar rules.  Facilitated use of MLA, APA, and Turabian styles.  Taught developmental college composition.  Assisted ESL students in developing language proficiency.  Served as substitute instructor for
